Unveiled: The Runway

Mira of Mira's Bridal Couture hosted a Bridal Runway show on Thursday night that featured some amazing dresses from designers such as Pronovias and Jim Hjelm. The show took place at Mistlin Art Gallery in Downtown Modesto and had an amazing turn out. Every viewer received a gift bag full of information concerning the vendors who helped with the event, Benefit cosmetics, and a cupcake from Creative Cakes by Debra Spigno.

The runway was a huge success. Mira's creative display of the wedding dresses was quite unique and sophisticated, using black as an accent color on all dresses in one way or another.

Mira Jantz did an amazing job putting on this event and I was very pleased to be one of the members of the press for this show.

To Be, or Not to Be?

Steven is an old high school friend of mine who is pursuing acting. He needed some head shots to turn in for a Shakespearean acting gig. Although he did not pose in tights and with a skull, he did bring quite the acting edge to the photo shoot. We shot some pictures indoors and some out; my favorites were the ones outside because he got to be more interactive with his surroundings. I wish you luck Steven! You'll do amazing!

Baby, Won't You Be My Girl

I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to take pictures of Nicole, her husband Joe, and their unborn daughter. Due any day now, the couple wanted to document the last stages of the pregnancy to include in a baby book they are creating for their daughter. The photos were taken at the couple's home in Tracy for a more cozy and familiar feel which also allowed them to let loose and be themselves. Nicole and Joe both have easy going and bubbly personalities making them a pleasure to shoot. Capturing their happiness was a pleasure to do.

Well, this is my first post. I am really excited I started this blog because I want to get my name and ideas out there.

I have been having an exceptionally crazy week photography wise which shows no sign of stopping until late February, and I haven't even started my next semester. Maternity portraits, Pin up shots, Bridal Runway show, a Metal Concert, and a Baptism are some of my upcoming events just to name a few! I'll be posting a few of my projects up soon so check in later :)
