Maalona Wedding

Jake and Liselle are long time friends of my sister; I consider them family. When I was asked to take photos of one of their TWO wedding receptions, I was floored. It was such a fun event full of happiness and family, LOTS of it! Over 300 people attended the reception in San Bruno park for some homestyle barbeque and the chance to wish their best to the newlyweds.

Fung Wedding

My mother and I were invited to our neighbor's wedding which took place at the Del Rio Country Club. Since my mom is known among the staff, I was asked if I would take some photos of the reception for their portfolio. Most photos were of the food stations and decor but these were a few of my favorites I took throughout the night including the wedding cake done by Creative Cakes :)

Back in January, I had the privilege of taking maternity photos of a couple in Tracy. Nikki and Joe were so in love and full of joy over the upcoming birth of their baby girl and it really translated in the photos. Last week, I was given the opportunity to take the first portraits of their beautiful new baby girl, Kate. It was the first real photos of her and came at such an awesome time! She had learned to sit up by herself the week before so she was able to be active and independent for many of the photos. I also had the pleasure of taking their first family photo :)

Winner

Well, I have learned living in the city, it pays to show a smile every once in awhile :) I met my friend Andy at my work and after many months of smiles and chatter, we finally had an outing. He took me to one of his favorite places to hike by the Sutro Baths which showed an amazing view of the bay and the Golden Gate Bridge.

Here are a few pictures I took of the amazing scapes. It was so incredibly beautiful and it was really awesome going with Andy because he knew where all the cool places were and how to get the best view of them! Thank you soooo much for taking me Winner! I hope we can do it again soon.

Alex & Essa

After I did photos of my cousin Becky, her sister Rachel asked if I would be willing to take photos of her and her two kiddies. Naturally I said yes and these are the result :) The black and whites at the top are my favorites!!! I love that kids do some of the most photogenic things when they don't even notice I'm there snapping the moment.
